Where extremism thrives, democracy withers. ACE Fund aggressively monitors and “names and shames” those who traffic in extremism and enable extremists to flourish.
Extremism is poisoning our democracy. It intimidates the “other,” suppresses free expression, and denies every American their right and ability to live together in peace and civility. Combating extremism cannot and must not be a partisan issue. Hate is hate, whether it comes from the far right or the far left.
Eroding confidence in American institutions fuels the spreading fires of extremism, bigotry, and hate. To extinguish these fires, we must strengthen and rebuild trust in our political system. That’s why ACE Fund works to activate everyday Americans to give them the opportunity to participate more fully in our politics.
Hate, intolerance and bigotry are becoming more widespread in our politics. ACE Fund recognizes that this extremism doesn’t exist in a vacuum: it is a direct result of the broken social contract between the American people, its leaders, and its institutions. This collapse in trust in one another has allowed extremist forces to poison the highest levels of our democracy.
America faces an existential challenge: Will we fall victim to the forces of hate, intolerance, and extremism? Or will we live up to America’s mission to build a “more perfect union?”
ACE Fund is working towards that more perfect union by targeting extremist forces and rebuilding trust between Americans and their elected leaders. Because in a country where freedom, justice, and prosperity reign, extremism will find no shelter.
Target the causes of extremism: Because extremism feeds on disillusionment in our political system, ACE Fund uncovers and exposes the corruption, hypocrisy, incompetence, and political rot that break the bond between the people and their government.
Research and expose the spread of extremism throughout our political system.
Demand accountability for policymakers who fuel divisiveness, threaten our rights, traffic in bigotry, and poison our politics.
Counter extremism by renewing and rebuilding the social contract between the American people and their government, and provide opportunities for people to engage more fully in the political process.
